We've finally found a simple and reliable test for checking for urinary tract infections.

For women particularly, cystitis can be a frequent occurrence so a lot of us tend to ignore it - unfortunately the same symptoms can also mask other infections which need to be treated with anti-biotics by a qualified doctor.

It's useful to keep a test like this in your bathroom cabinet so that you can check whether your symptoms can be safely ignored - the kit tests for proteine, nitrite and leukocytes which are not normally present in urine, and lets you know straight away if there is any cause for concern.

Simply immerse one of the two included strips into urine for a few minutes - if there is any sign of infection, a colour will appear on the strip letting you know.
